Can LetzTest register me for the exam?
No. LetzTest is a private preparation platform with no access to registration or sessions.
Registration goes through the INL alone, online. LetzTest registers nobody and has no access to sessions: this page explains the steps so you take them at the right time.

The Institut national des langues Luxembourg (INL) runs the Sproochentest, handles registration and issues the certificate. Registration goes through the MyINL platform, online. No private platform, LetzTest included, can register a candidate.
The step is separate from your nationality file, which belongs to the Ministry of Justice. The certificate is a document you then attach to that file.
The INL states that it makes more than 800 places available each month, and that they go very quickly. Sessions are not all published at once: new dates are added regularly.
The practical consequence fits in one sentence: check the platform several times a week rather than once a month, and start preparing before you have a date. Candidates who wait for their convocation to begin rarely have the time they imagined.
LetzTest publishes the list of dates released by the INL and offers an email alert when it changes. That is a monitoring service, not a registration: booking still happens on the INL platform.
The registration fee is 75 EUR, an amount set by grand-ducal regulation according to what the INL publishes.
A valid identity document is required. The INL accepts, among others, a foreign passport, an identity card, a travel document for refugees or stateless persons, a residence permit or an immigration certificate.
Bring the document you registered under: a photocopy is not enough. Arrive early, both sites need time for access and setup.
Between deciding to sit the exam and the actual date, count several weeks, sometimes more depending on availability. That delay is not wasted: it is exactly the preparation window most candidates lack.
The sequence that works: start training, watch the dates in parallel, book as soon as a slot matches your state of preparation, then spend the final weeks on the full exam format.

The INL states no limit, but you must wait for the result of the previous session before registering again.
According to what the INL publishes, the certificate has no limited period of validity.
This guide draws on what the INL publishes (inll.lu and its registration platform), the men.public.lu portal and guichet.lu. Arrangements, amounts, durations and exam sites can change: always confirm with the INL before registering.
The free simulation uses the exact format of the listening paper: three audio documents, fifteen questions, 35 timed minutes, your mark at the end. No account, no payment.
